Terms of use
Last updated 26 October 2026
The short version
- Some games are free forever. The full game and seasonal packs are one-time purchases, never a subscription.
- What you buy is yours to keep on that store account.
- Be kind: the TV shows everyone's names, pictures and drawings.
Who we are
Hubbub is made by Stackless, run by Daham Mohammed in Coventry, United Kingdom (hello@familygame.co.uk). By playing Hubbub you agree to these terms.
Playing
One TV hosts a game room and shows a code. Anyone who can see the code can join from a phone, so only share it with people you want in your game. The person hosting on the TV can remove players. Phones always join for free.
Free games and purchases
- A set of games is free to play with no time limit.
- The full game and seasonal packs are one-time purchases. The price is shown before you buy.
- Purchases are made through the store you got Hubbub from (Amazon, Google, Samsung, LG or another TV store) or, on our website, through Stripe. That store's payment and refund rules apply as well as these terms.
- A purchase unlocks the games on the store account (or website licence) you bought it with. Reinstalling or adding another TV on the same store account restores it.
- Nothing here affects your legal rights as a consumer in the UK. If something you bought doesn't work, contact us and we will fix it or refund you.
Be kind
Don't use names, pictures, drawings or answers that are offensive, hurtful or that you don't have the right to share, and don't upload photos of people who haven't agreed. Don't try to break, overload or cheat the game.
Changes to the game
We keep improving Hubbub, so games, questions and features change over time and updates arrive automatically. If we ever remove a paid game for good, we will offer something of equal value or a refund.
Availability
Hubbub needs an internet connection and runs on our servers. We work to keep it running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, for example during maintenance or an outage at our hosting provider.
Our responsibility
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not taking reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses: Hubbub is for personal and family use.
Privacy
How we handle names, pictures and purchases is explained in our privacy policy.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK you can also bring claims in your own country's courts.
